This Disney staple will reopen at the Minskoff Theatre on September 14, 2021. The famous show, which began performances in 1997, features the same Elton John and Tim Rice songs as the animated movie, as well as additional music and lyrics by Lebo M., Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, Julie Taymor and Hans Zimmer.
