Recently Value Research studied the actively managed equity funds to assess, where fund manager and board of directors of the fund houses have invested their own money. Study showed that in 113 equity funds with total asset under management of 5.5 lakh Crore, near about of 2,069 crore amount has been invested by board of directors, fund managers and other key managerial personnel.
