About Me
Dr. Mangesh Karandikar is Director, MET Institute of Mass Media, Bandra, Mumbai. His doctorate is in Communication and Journalism based on a study of websites of political parties in India. His core areas of study and research are Digital Media, Visual Communication, and Communication Theory, with several research publications to his credit.
Dr. Karandikar is former Head, Department of Communication and Journalism, and a member of Board of Studies of several institutes including the University of Mumbai and Amity University. He has over 30 years of experience, with 15 years in business of printing, web development and design, and corporate films, and 15 years in academics.
Dr. Karandikar is an avid blogger, trekker, film maker, an amateur flutist and harmonica player, painter, and clay modeller.
