It is beneficial for Suntory Holdings to keep the impression of a Kentucky lineage because the product is specific to that area, however when Dow Chemicals takes over Union Carbide, it washes its hands off the Bhopal Gas leak and crimes of Union Carbide claiming it is a different company... even if it chooses to leverage the brand value of Eveready.
