Life teaches you to fend for yourself. No one to watch out or check up on you. You either survive or you exist. If you are lucky, you combat the harshness, fulfill your dream and learn to live your life; but if not, then you become like the countless empty shells that exist day by day with no hope for their future. To be able to maintain your sense of self is remarkable. Not that change is bad, but it matters to what extent people decide to change.
