Born in the town popularly known as the "Venice of the east" Alapuzha(Alleppy), Sreekanth was brought up in the city of Kochi in Kerala. A recipient of many a nicknames which includes puthen in iit roorkee,chikku in udl school or gopu at home and among relatives,Sreekanth did his schooling from udyogmandal school,eloor. May be the biggest achievement of his life so far is getting into the prestigious "Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee."
